Of Dog and Men

As dawn breaks, 16-year-old Dar returns to her kibbutz in search of her dog who went missing during the October 7th terror attack.
Over the course of two days Dar navigates through the horrors etched upon the place, while on the faces of the witnesses, she encounters the stark reality of the unfolding disaster just beyond the fence. Between those seeking revenge and those whose faith in mankind remains unwavering, Dar will try to find her own voice.

After the screening, we will have a conversation with the creators and participants of the film and we will discuss the questions that preoccupied the creators of the film while making it: Is it even possible to represent the events, tell them, carry them as a memory, and beyond that, how can we talk about the future that will come from the destruction?
