Chef David Yárnoz runs a Michelin-starred restaurant in northern Spain and heads a sister restaurant in Taiwan. Yárnoz has not been able to visit the Asian restaurant for three years due to the pandemic, and now needs to embark on a vital trip. In Taiwan, he not only checks how his restaurant is doing, he looks for cultural contrasts, for common ground with the locals, and strikes up a special friendship with another high-end chef, Kai Ho.
The new documentary explores two cultures apparently so opposite in their philosophy, and the culinary art that brings them together.
