Rona, fresh out of rehab, returns to the wild Orkney Islands after more than a decade away. As she reconnects with the dramatic landscape where she grew up, memories of her childhood merge with the more recent, challenging events that have set her on the path to recovery.

Nora Fingscheidt's life-affirming story about living on the edge, healing, and what it means to return home offers a compassionate mix of optimism and pain. Adapted from Amy Liptrot's 2016 memoir, the film centers on celebrated actor Saoirse Ronan, who delivers one of her best performances as a young woman grappling with addiction.

Filmography: The Unforgivable (2021), System Crasher (2019).
