In a small Czech village, two neighboring families—each with a different approach to life—clash and fight. Disagreements also arise within the homes, where three generations intersect, bringing together tradition and stubbornness, hope and kindness, and a deep connection to the surrounding landscape. A sudden illness may lead to reconciliation between the community and nature.
The new film by veteran Czech filmmaker Bohdan Sláma focuses on accepting responsibility, both for the environment and for our relationships.
