Marco, the Invented Truth is the story of a hugely charismatic man who, for years, served as the spokesperson for the Spanish Association of Holocaust victims. He kept alive, before the media, within his own association, and even within his own family, a highly complex fabrication: He claimed to be a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp, a claim that turned out to be a shameful lie.

One of the buzziest films of the fall season, Marco comes to Haifa directly from its world premiere at the Venice Festival. A gripping moral thriller inspired by the unbelievable true story of Enric Marco, the film stars three-time Goya winner Eduard Fernández

Filmography: The Endless Trench (2019), The Giant (2017).
