In Sokcho, a small seaside village in South Korea, 25-year-old Soo-Ha finds herself stuck in a routine, marked by visits to her mother, a fishmonger, and her relationship with her boyfriend, Jun-Ho. When a Frenchman named Yan Kerrand arrives at the boarding house where Soo-Ha works, it stirs within her a sense of curiosity about her own identity and the French father she knows little about. As winter envelops the town, Soo-Ha and Kerrand cautiously observe and gauge each other, communicating through cooking and drawing, delicately weaving a fragile bond.

Koya Kamura's feature debut touches on questions of identity, telling an unconventional love story.
