Zalmon Prison contains what the ordinary person prefers to repress. People who have strayed from the moral path, punished and imprisoned, live behind bars in a violent and turbulent world with its own set of rules. The guards, responsible for maintaining security, are forced to confront the back alleys of Israeli society and face many moments of conflict. A long documentary follow-up on the lives of the guards and prisoners at Zalmon prison provides a rare glimpse into a world full of dilemmas and moving human situations."
