Life peacefully passes by in Sunnytown until Mitcho and Sebastian find a message in a bottle. The Bottle is from the missing Mayor of Sunnytown with a message that he is on The Mysterious Island and has made a great discovery. The two friends must embark on a great journey to help save the Mayor and bring him home; in the process they uncover something special - a Giant Pear.

This beautifully animated tale, based on the picture book by Jakob Martin Strid, captures all the rich imagination and humor of the book.
