Charlie Marechal, the owner of a successful guide to the wines of France, is forced to take over the vineyard that has been in his family for 200 years when it gets dangerously close to bankruptcy due to his father's loss of interest in operating his vineyard. Having little previous experience in the wine-making process, he gambles on using traditional methods that went in disuse with the introduction of technology.
Jerome Le Gris’ enjoyable film offers sumptuous cinematography of the vineyards of Burgundy, an assured cast and a feel-good script.
