Heroine is a full-length feature film comprising five short stories, written and directed by five women. The title of each episode is the profession of the main character: The Officer, The Babysitter, The Nurse, The Stripper and The Director. Their profession does not serve as an ornament, it is at the heart of this film, inseparable from life, from the woman herself.
The filmmakers aspire to present a singular mosaic, unique and timely, of women and their choices in Israel in the 21st century.
