A young family moves into a large house in a remote village. The Mountain view, the quiet and a the lemon orchard outside the window all seem idyllic, but looks can be deceiving. This is Abkhazia in the early 90's, shortly after a bitter and bloody war that has made enemies of Georgians and Abkhazians. Tens of thousands of Georgians have been forced out, leaving others to occupy their empty houses, to try and find peace and happiness in someone else’s home.
“An exquisite, evocative and elusive tale of abandonment… inspired by the director’s own experiences” - Jessica Kiang, Variety.
Feature Debut

The director will be attending the 22nd October screening.
