After losing his sight in an accident, Pavel Zuev has to find his way back to the world of the living. In this new blind existence, on the verge of despair, he meets an exceptional woman, a woman capable of seeing more than most. Nadezhda ('hope' in Russian) will help Pavel find strength and a new sense of existence.
Alexandr Kott (Test) delicately balances drama and melodrama and, with the help of his fine actors, presents “a work of immense compassion and tragedy, simply great film making (Gideon Bachmann).”
