15-year-old Vincent has been raised lovingly by his mother, Marie, but she has always refused to reveal who his father is. He finally discovers that it’s a certain Oscar Pormenor, an egoistic and cynical Parisian publisher. Vincent develops a violent plan of revenge, but his meeting with Joseph, Oscar’s brother, has a profound impact on his life.
Eugéne Green’s witty exploration of the Parisian literary world sees Mathieu Amalric at his gleeful best.
