Daphne is a troubled youth living on the margins of Italian society. She spends her days with a criminal outfit, mugging subway passengers, a habit that inevitably leads her to juvenile prison. It is there that Daphne meets Josh. Separated by fences and bars, the two can only steal looks, thoughts, secret messages.
Claudio Giovannesi combines social realism with romance to create an intimate film that gets under the skin of a conflicted character. He is aided by a shining performance by newcomer Daphne Scoccia.
