Mehmet lives with his family in a mountain village in the Black Sea region and can barely scratch a living. His family urges him to take a job in a nearby mine, but Mehmet has bigger dreams. He spends every single moment he can roaming the mountains, searching for veins of valuable metals. And one day he stumbles on another idea.
Filmmaker Mustafa Kara draws a simple, moving portrait of a desperate life, touching on the need to survive, the power of hope and the relationship between nature, animals and man.
