Rock legend Marianne Lane (Tilda Swinton) is recuperating on the volcanic Mediterranean island of Pantelleria with her partner Paul (Matthias Schoenaerts) when her old flame, the iconoclastic record producer Harry Hawkes (Ralph Fiennes) unexpectedly arrives with his daughter Penelope (Dakota Johnson), triggering destructive old impulses and plunging the foursome into a tangled web of sex and desire.

Luca Guadagnino (I Am Love) remakes Jacques Deray’s The Swimming Pool into a sensuous, sun-kissed portrait of lust, jealousy, and rock n' roll with a stunning cast.

Filmography: I Am Love (2009), Melissa P. (2005), The Protagonists (1999).
