1943. Germany is occupying France and 13-year-old Fanny is sent with her little sisters to a foster home for Jewish children. When the orphanage is no longer safe, the staff desperately organizes the departure of the children to Switzerland. Fanny and her sisters are among those traveling to the border, when these 11 children suddenly find themselves on their own. Will they do the impossible and survive?
