Ann, a young literature student, befriends the members of a loose-knit group of twentysomethings in Paris, united by the apparent suicide of an acquaintance.
The Haifa IFF honors the career of Jacques Rivette, the first of the Cahiers du Cinéma critics to direct a feature and help launch the French New Wave, with a screening of the film that marked the provocative start to a brilliant directorial career.
Filmography: Va Savoir (2001), La belle noiseuse (1991), Wuthering Heights (1985), Celine and Julie Go Boating (1974), L'amour fou (1968), The Nun (1966).
