    The Haifa IFF honors the life and career of Gene Wilder (1933–2016) and celebrates the 90th birthday of Mel Brooks (born 1926) by presenting one of their great films. Blazing Saddles is every Western you've ever seen turned upside down and inside out as a black sheriff (Cleavon Little) and his white sidekick (Gene Wilder) save the town of Ridge Rock from land speculators.
