Adriana's Pact

Adriana was filmmaker’s Lissette Orozco’s idol, the aunt who would sweep into Chile from Australia laden with gifts and trailing an air of glamour. Then during a visit in 2006, she was arrested and charged with working for DINA, the much-feared secret police during Pinochet’s dictatorship. Adriana denied the allegations and Orozco decided to investigate.

Winner of six international awards, including the Peace Film Award in Berlinale, Adriana’s Pact is personal documentary that confronts the director’s own legacy and the country’s dark history.
