Irina lives with her family in a rural area in Romania. The father has left for London, she shares her home with her mother, sister and her mother’s extended, dysfunctional family. But still she clings to her dreams - to be free of her cousins’ stronghold, to study in Bucharest, and most of all, to find love. One party and the morning after will change her world.
Alina Grigore’s feature debut comes to Haifa directly from its world premiere at the San Sebastian festival.
