    A prison in Sardinia is in the process of being divested. Only a few guards and inmates are still there and they all are waiting to be transferred. A little bit at a time, the rules begin to appear increasingly pointless, and the group of men left behind turns into a new fragile community.

    The Inner Cage comes to the Haifa Festival directly from its world premiere in the Venice Festival. The gripping drama brings together two of the biggest stars of Italian cinema - Toni Servillo and Silvio Orlando - in a movie about the complexity of human relations.
