When we meet chef Ljubomir Stanišić he is already living the dream - a one-Michelin-star restaurant in Lisbon, a successful TV show, a beautiful house with an organic garden. We soon find out that his charismatic personality hides a difficult past. Ljubomir's story takes us to war-torn Sarajevo, to immigration, ambition, creativity, and hope and, of course, to his kitchen.
Mónica Franco, the wife of Ljubomir Stanišić, worked on the film for several years, documenting the ups and downs of a man, a cook, and a public figure. Franco tells a story of dreams and hard work and an insatiable passion for life. Documentary.
