1980's. Stella, Victor, Adèle and Etienne, 20-year-olds, take the entrance exam to the famous acting school created by Patrice Chéreau and Pierre Romans at the Théâtre des Amandiers in Nanterre. Launched at full speed into life, passion, and love, they will experience a turning point in their lives, but also their first tragedy.
Director/actor Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, who was herself a student of Chéreau’s during the early ’80s, pays tribute to that time and to the theatre. Bruni Tedeschi combines energy, sexual energy, personal memory and fiction to present us with an entertaining and vibrant film.
