The Kings of the World

Rá, Culebro, Sere, Winny and Nano, five street kids from Medellin, five kings without a kingdom, with no law and no family, looking for the Promised Land. The five will embark on a trip to claim a piece of land that Rá inherited after a long process of land restitution. A Journey to nowhere where anything can happen.

Winner of the Best Film Award at the San Sebastian Festival, The Kings of the World takes us on a poignant and hopeful ride between lyricism and brutal reality and confirms the status of Laura Mora as one of the greatest talents in the modern-day Latin American filmscape.
