When her mother dies, Georgie manages to convince social workers and the surrounding community alike that she is in the care of her 'uncle'. The 12-year-old fills the London flat with magic and makes money by steeling bikes with her friend Ali. This works like a charm until her long absent father Jason turns up and forces her to confront reality.

Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, Scrapper is the feature debut of music video and short director Charlotte Regan. The comedy drama is filled with spirit, humor and inventiveness, offering a fresh, funny and colorful twist on the classic British working-class drama.
